BOM

Bill of Material. Data on product units and components, and the rates of use of raw stock, materials and components per unit. Normally BOM data are organized hierarchically according to the product structure. BOM is used to develop a digital mock-up (DMU) of the product as well as in material requirement planning (MRP, MRPII, APS).
