Business-rules are logical description of standards, procedures and policies of an enterprise. In the cPDM-systems business-rules are used to define the relationship between entities, actions that can be undertaken with entities, intermediate control points and operating procedures. Business-rules also describe the policy constraints that the system or personnel should take into account.
