Jump to: navigation, search

A processor language for computerized numerical control (CNC) machine tools. G-code consists of a small number of elementary commands, divided into words. The commands are grouped in blocks, each of which has a fixed format. The commands define the tool position, axis velocity, spindle speed, the tool number and the motion trajectory. G-code is an industry standard (EIA-274-D).
