Gantt chart

A type of graphic representation of a project schedule as part of the PM, Project Management strategy. Named after Henry L. Gantt who devised it. Gantt chart is located on a 2D discrete surface, its horizontal axis is the time scale and the vertical axis – the task-and sub-task list. An element of the Gantt chart is a segment implying the time for execution of a specified task from the start to the end.
