Human Resource Management
From PLMpedia
(Redirected from Human resource management)
An area of knowledge and practice aimed at timely provision of human resources and optimal employment of human resources. Typically HRM-systems support the following functionality modules:
- Compiling paysheets;
- Controlling working hours and the type of work performed;
- Managing the perks system (medical insurance, social security contributions, participation in company’s profit sharing, options for the company shares);
- Human resource management as such (information about age, family status, place of residence, qualifications, participation in the projects, training).
Human resource management systems are often integrated into large-scale systems for enterprise resource planning (ERP), where they supplement the modules of financial planning and capacity requirements planning (CRP).
