Laminated Object Manufacturing

A rapid prototyping process – fabricating a physical mock-up of a part directly based on a 3D product model. LOM technology means creating prototype layers by using a laminated paper sheet. Contours of each layer are cut with laser, and the surface that should then be removed is cut into pieces by laser.
