A Manufacturing Execution System helps control processes, materials and human resources in the real-time mode to sinchronize, coordinate, analyse and optimize the output. Typically, such a system has numerous hardware and software devices. A MES-system interacts closely with an ERP-system, receiving manufacturing plans, compiled on the basis of orders and supplies of raw materials, and sending back information on actual expenses at all stages of batch manufacturing.
