OBJ

An open file format, designed by Wavefront Technologies, and currently used in many other applications of 3D graphics. Files in OBJ format contain description of 3D geometric surface: mosaic (facetted) models or free-form surfaces. Each model object can be associated with the attributes that give «material» for texture mapping (graphic specification of materials are described in separate files in MTL format).
