SAT

SAT (Standard ACIS Text) – a text file format enabling to preserve a solid-state geometric model created with ACIS geometric modeling kernel by Spatial Corporation (part of Dassault Systemes). An equivalent binary format is SAB (Standard ACIS Binary). SAT and SAB are the original ACIS formats and are also used as neutral formats to exchange data between various CAD, based on this kernel: ABAQUS, Cimatron E, IronCAD, MicroStation, SpaceClaim, etc.
